Born and raised in West Michigan, the daughter of a pastor and a public school teacher, I’ve had a corporate career and more than a decade of working with companies across industries--nonprofits and for profits, start-ups and global. I’ve raised three kids who are now adults.

I am a mother, grandmother, wife, writer, gardener, knitter, active community volunteer, senior elder in my church, a researcher, a consensus builder, a solver of complicated problems, a strategist, and an experienced leader.

I'd be honored to represent the 89th District in the Michigan House.
My slogan is “One Future | Together” because we do share this community, this district, this state, this country. We can decide to work together, to understand each other–whether or not we agree, and to find innovative solutions to the issues that we face.

That’s the goal of democracy on its best days, and we can revitalize that aspiration. We can stop poking at cultural hot buttons and begin to imagine, together, the future we all want for the next generation and the one after that.

I'm looking forward to lots of conversations about what matters to us.
